BSCP has developed a social housing program for the Government of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay.
The project is based on the concept of evolutionary basic poles handed out by the Government. The poles are 32m2 single family houses when they are given out, with a plot of land attached to the house. Then, the project allows each owner, at their own expense and through an external contract or by constructing it themselves, to expand it up until a total constructed surface area of more than 100m2.
The program is made up of 3,500 units constructed by the Spanish company CALPUSA URUGUAY. At the moment there are 270 constructed units.
